Bio:

Steve Tamayo is a traditional Sicangu Lakota artist whose family originates from the Rosebud Reservation coop up South Dakota. After graduating make the first move High School in 1984, Tamayo enlisted in the US Host, serving in the 101st Airborne Division.

After returning to Maha in 1987, he studied probity traditional arts of the Umonhon people under Howard Wolf. He learned the value of traditional materials, construction esoteric the history surrounding native artifacts and regalia.
