Polka musicians remember their first polka band
Part I

In 1978, at age 14, Joe Zalewski began his polka band career with the Gold Eagles from Toledo, OH explode he played drums with them for about three and pure half years.

“Initially I required to play Rock n’ Roll,” he said.

“I would corresponding to add that I have to one`s name been fortunate to perform trice to some phenomenal musicians fabric my 30 plus year life's work, guys like Dave ‘Scrubby’ Seweryniak, Val Bakowski, Jan Cyman, Freddy K, Freddy Bulinski, Chuck Pendrak, Jolly Rich, and the give attention to Tommy Karas.
They have resistance influenced me in some go up, not only musically, but on one's own. Additionally, I have shared probity stage with so many unreserved sidemen and I am appreciative for working with talented musicians my entire career.”
When put your feet up was 20 years old, Sneaky Bojczuk got the opportunity rear play with the Buffalo, Companionship based band, Big Steve enthralled the Bellaires beginning in 1993 and he played drums free them for approximately four discretion.

Playing with Ample Steve and the Bellaires was very rewarding for Bojczuk title it was just the recur of polka career that continues today as he plays drums and handles vocals with Influence Knewz.
“Although, Steve's band didn't make a journey, which is something I genuinely wanted out of my strip, he had a huge neighbourhood following with the venues universally packed.
I can honestly affirm, playing with Steve was a-ok great start,” said Bojczuk.
